This morning I was privileged to
accompany a couple of choirs in Rossville as they put on a Veteran’s Day
program The pledge of allegiance was said, the Star Spangled Banner was sung, a
flag presented, as well as a couple of readings that honored those who have
served in the military. I was definitely feeling patriotic!
Veteran’s Day is a great reminder of
the many people who have fought for our freedom – from the Revolutionary war to
the current defending against terrorism. To those who have or are serving our
country, THANK YOU!
