Tomorrow begins the “21 days to
Thanksgiving” countdown and I hope you will join me! Each day I am going to
post a small blog about something for which I am thankful – fun things, serious
things… you just never know what might pop up.
What a fantastic way to prepare for the
official day of Thanksgiving – not just by getting a turkey and making all the goodies
that go with it… but by focusing on how blessed we really are. And -
interesting thought - when we focus on having a thankful attitude, praise becomes
the means to express what is overflowing from our hearts.
There are a lot of verses in the Bible that
prompt us to be thankful. For today I will leave you with this one from Psalm
100:4 as we begin the countdown. (Notice that thanks and praise are linked up
here…)
Enter his
gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
