Day 11 ~
Today I am thankful for safety
They say in Indiana, if you don’t
like the weather just wait a few hours – it will change. Well, that is
certainly true! This past week we had snow (wasn’t quite ready for that yet!!)
and then the weather became so warm I was outside in just my jeans and t-shirt.
Today it was rather overcast and
rainy as we left church – and then it got nasty. We had major storms with a lot
of wind. Tim and I went on our deck and watched the clouds. They were pretty
amazing as they swirled and blew past us. When the tornado sirens went off we
knew it was time to head to the basement.
There has been a lot of damage
around Lafayette and close by towns, but thankfully not at our house.
I am truly thankful for safety
during the storms!
