Day 12
Today I am thankful for songs
that give us truth and encourage our hearts!
This morning I find myself
singing a couple of the songs we did yesterday at church ~ one of which is
always in my top 5 favorites… Holy, Holy, Holy. The other song is a newer song with
words so powerful and meaningful:
“A mighty
fortress is our God, a sacred refuge is His Name…”
Both of these songs – written over
a hundred years apart – teach good, solid doctrine and bring us to worship. So
yesterday, with a couple hundred other people, and today by myself, I sing with
joy and thankfulness to my holy God who is my fortress and refuge!
