Day 5…
I am thankful for the beauty of the
fall.
Yesterday was absolutely beautiful!
The sun was out, the last bits of colors on the trees were gorgeous, and you
could smell the scent of autumn. So Tim and I decided to go for a drive and
enjoy it.
And enjoy it we did!! We saw deer,
geese flying, wooded areas with a carpet of yellow leaves, and acres of
harvested fields. When we got back from our drive we decided we should walk around
our neighborhood and seethe evidence of fall up-close. It was hard to resist
jumping in the piles of leaves but thought it would make for better neighbor
relations if we did!
Today the skies are overcast again
with the feel of impending rain. But even it that – there is an incredible
beauty, too and I am thankful.
